Good evening friends, we have something special for you today.
Sarah (a photographer from Seattle, WA) contacted us earlier this year with the following email:
This will be a long email, but I promise to try and keep it as short as possible. I am NZ (Auckland) born, living in Seattle Washington USA. I am one of 4 kids – 1 girl, 3 boys. My oldest brother lives in California and the younger 2 brothers live in Auckland with their wives. We manage to all be in the same country once in every 4 or so years. This year in June that will be happening
You see, my youngest brother was in a devastating accident just before Christmas… He was in a coma for over a month, but since “coming to” has been making huge strides towards a full recovery. He is currently at Auckland ABI which is a brain facility re-learning how to talk/eat etc.
Anyway, because of this, my older brother and I, along with our families will be coming to NZ to spend some time with the family. I thought it might be a good idea to get photos done while we are together.”
At that moment there was no doubt on my mind that I wanted to be a part of this family event.
One of my favourite moment of this whole photoshoot was when I first met Sarah’s younger brother Jono (you can read his story at http://www.jonnybegood.co.nz) , he was an incredible person with such a happy personality – It was such a pleasant life experience to meet a family who’s been through so much and yet have so much joy like they had. It was nothing short of a life-changing experience for me.
Thank you Sarah & Ruth for the opportunity to witness your family’s love for life and God.
